La prima è Samanta Cristoforetti, la prima astronauta italiana, in possesso di due lauree con specializzazione conseguita negli Stati Uniti e che in questo momento ci sta guardando da "lassù" dove si trova in missione nella Stazione Spaziale Internazionale.
La seconda è Maryam Mirzakhani la prima donna ad avere vinto vinto la medaglia Fields, che corrisponde al premio Nobel per la matematica.
È iraniana, studia geometria iperbolica ed insegna alla Stanford University in California. Per pubblicare la notizia nel suo paese d'origine hanno ritoccato la sua foto aggiungendole il velo.
La terza che intendo menzionare è Malala Yousafzai cui è andato il Nobel per la pace 2014.
Questa coraggiosa ragazza pakistana ha messo a repentaglio la propria vita per esercitare il suo diritto di andare a scuola e si prodiga affinchè sia garantita a tutte le ragazze la possibilità di ricevere un'istruzione.

Tomorrow is the last day of the year, looking back to the main events of 2014 I decided to dedicate today's post to 3 women who in this year have achieved important results in the world, to demonstrate that history is not written by men only .
